I forgot I have this thing. This'll probably be the last time I ever use it.

New band project - www.myspace.com/blackliquidfuneral

Started last year, then split up for almost a year, then back together. Only single guitar demo tracks up at the moment. Once we get a drummer and bassist we don't end up firing, there will be more.

I can now be found at www.facebook.com/mykzilla (I'm listed under Michael lacey).

Alright, I am never going to use stupid livejournal ever again lol.

The Force Unleashed would be an awesome game if a team of retarded chimps weren't in charge of programming the camera controls. And I love how you have to land on a totally flat surface after a fall/jump, or you'll slide off whatever it is, even if 95% of your body is on the flat surface. I also absolutely adore that I can deflect and dodge hundreds of laser blasts at the same time, yet when some plump little bitch with a baton runs up to me while I am doing this, he can gently tap me with his stick and everything goes to shit. Not to mention that Jawas with grenades suck a fatty.

But crumpling an AT-ST like it was a 5-year-old's first attempt at oragami, after lifting it in the air, makes me a happy invalid ^^

"I can kill you with my brain."

First person who knows where this quote is from that isn't from Montana wins a prize. A really shitty prize.

PRACE BETS NAO!!!

Oh yeah... Valium withdrawal sucks bad. Next month is Adderall withdrawal (hurray for amphetimines). After that, I may have to check into a hospital and detox from the three other meds I am on. My new psychiatrist wants to start from scratch, or see if I do any better without meds, since most times I've altered or changed my meds I've been fucked in the head for weeks/months. At this point, I'm ready to give that a shot. I'm sick of pills anyway.

I think this is hitting me like Kurt Cobain's death did all the trendy tweens/teens in high school. Once I heard, I almost broke down and cried.

He was brilliant, funny, insightful, and made me genuinely laugh harder than anyone else could/can. Sure, I guffaw at Mitch Hedberg and Dave Chappel and old school Eddie Murphy, to list a few... but George's comedy sinks down to your core and hits you on an entirely different level. When he made a joke or even said something, it is hard to forget because it was all just so impacting.

This has definitely hurt me.

We'll miss you, George... and your seven dirty words ; ;

Shit
Piss
Fuck
Cunt
Cocksucker
Motherfucker
Tits

My first assignment this quarter was to make a 12x18 poster advertising an event, book, movie, etc. So I chose to do The Call of Cthulhu.

This first image was my original concept I just kind of threw together. I liked it, but there were some jarring elements, especially the fact that in the process of converting it to a jpeg file it removed many of my fx layers, curves and levels.

The second image is what I eventually ended up with after an hour of tooling around with it. It reminds me of a book cover for a pulp novel featuring Lovecraft's works, especially the title at the top. Anyway, here's the shitfor the few people who actually know my journal still exists...

So I had this swell idea...

I have been playing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne lately, and an idea struck me like a sardine taped onto the end of a javelin. In the Shin MegaTen series, most of the many games released revolve around getting demons to join your party and either fight for you or help you fight. It is a very mature themed series, touching on the occult, religion (from Buddhism to Satanism ideologies, and everything in between), the supernatural, death, rebirth, violence (many times to the extreme), and the very first game in the series (JP ONRY!) even had the resurrection of Hitler out to destroy the world.

Anyway, about the whole recruiting monsters thing... Sure, the demons are not that cute and cuddly looking (with a few exceptions), and the game has some very mature themes, but it is like an adult version of Pokemon, except with much greater depth, gameplay, and control scheme.

Alright, so my idea was this; I want to start writing/drawing/creating a comic series called "Shin Megami Tensei: Pokemon." It will feature both pokemon and the demons from various SMT games, with an emphasis on the pokemon being used to battle. I want to make the pokemon mostly resemble how they are shown in the games, except with some alterations to many of them to make them more creepy/evil/demon-like. I am aiming for something pretty tongue-in-cheek, yet adult themed, violent, very dark, and keeping with the vibe of most of the SMT series. Like the SMT games, I'd like to create something that would make parents freak out if they found their kids reading it.

I don't plan on selling any aspect or part of it in any way, since I think I was told as a child that I am deathly allergic to lawsuits. Just going to be a pet project and a way to develop my design/art skills.

But yeah, I just wanted to know if the few people who actually read my LJ, and know a bit about the SMT and Pokemon games, want to contribute in any way. Anything from plot ideas to character sketches, scripting, whatever. I am very open to a collaboration of however many people are interested, and perhaps I can actually stick to this and make it happen.

It sounds retarded, but way too fucking cool at the same time ^^

I finally started a Photobucket album to put all the stuff I create on. Not a lot there now, and some of it is kinda crappy because I included stuff from when I had no idea how to use the art programs I have, but I hope to update it everytime I get something new done. So if you want to check it out, it's at http://s253.photobucket.com/albums/hh47/BloodyMeatWagon/ . Right now a majority of the work there are from assignments in my Graphic Design classes, but they're still pretty alright.

Comments are more than welcome. In fact, I get so little email from people I know nowadays (since I have gone super hermit), that I am begging you all to please comment so I can once again feel important =p

There should be some charcoal drawings added in the near to semi-near future once I get up off my lazy ass and scan the shit. Or photograph it, since most are on super humongous paper. Or whatever.

And if any of you want me to make you something, let me know and I will do it as soon as I have time. I am in a rut right now, so ideas from other people might spark some motivation in me. Hopefully it will also force me to learn more shit about the programs I use.
